Why it matters

The garden is part of your bond.

Almost every residential lease in Victoria requires you to return the property — garden included — in the same condition it was in at the start, fair wear and tear aside. An overgrown lawn, weedy beds and untidy edges are among the most common things property managers flag at the final inspection, and they are easily avoided.

End of lease questions

Common questions from renters and property managers across the inner-north.

A neglected lawn or overgrown garden is one of the most common reasons part of a bond is withheld. Your lease almost always requires the garden to be left in the same condition as at the start. We tidy it to inspection standard and give you a receipt as proof the work was done professionally.
A small courtyard typically starts from $80. A standard house block usually falls between $120 and $200. Overgrown or large properties are quoted on inspection. We confirm a fixed price before any work begins.
We take same day and next day bookings across inner-north Melbourne. If your final inspection is tomorrow, contact us today and we will do our best to fit you in. Booking a couple of days ahead is safest in spring and summer.
No. As long as we can access the garden through a gate or side entrance, we complete the job and send you a photo and receipt when it is done. This suits renters who have already moved out.
Mowing front and back to the correct height, edging along all paths and beds, blowdown of clippings, basic weeding, and tidying of obvious overgrowth. Hedge trimming, pruning and green waste removal can be added if needed.
